HOW IT WORKS

As the driver shifts the vehicle into reverse gear, the back-up lights of the vehicle automatically turn on and powers the parking sensor system. The PSS picks up its 12V power via a connection to any one of the car's reverse lights.

Four small ultrasonic sensors are flush mounted at the lower edge of the rear bumber and connects to the main computer and the siren. When the driver shifts into reverse, the piezo speaker beeps for 1 full second to alert you the system is working.

As you approach the car or wall behind you the speaker emits a low frequency beeping tone at a low pitch. As you get closer and come into a 44" proximity the speaker emits a more rapid beeping tone at a slightly higher pitch. Finally when one reaches a 14" proximity the beeping tone is more rapid and at a higher pitch.

The driver is able to know their distance without guessing & can therefore park with ease. The system is perfect for parallel parking for all CARS, SUV's and MINI VAN type vehicles where it is often very difficult to see and/or know your exact distance.

1. Remove one of your tail lights if necessary to locate your reverse lights and the connecting wires.
2. Splice into the reverse lights' positive and negative wire and connect the systems two wires (positive and negative) appropriately to the reverse lights (positive and negative) of your vehicle.
3. Re-install your tail lights.
4. (Drilled in type) The unit includes the drill bit necessary to create a hole for the sensor. Using a drill, create a hole in your rear bumper and insert the sensor. The sensor is tapered for a snug fit.
5. Fit the main unit securely in your trunk and attach the LED in a visible location.
